What cookies and browser storage are

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies

This website does not currently use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not set non-essential analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this page and put appropriate consent controls in place before any non-essential cookies are used.

Essential storage we use

Shopping basket: the contents of your basket are saved in your browser's local storage so your selections are still there if you reload the page or come back later.

Sign-in and security: when you sign in to a dashboard or a business app, the session is stored in your browser so you stay signed in and so requests can be authenticated securely.

App preferences: small values are saved to remember things such as whether you have already been shown the install prompt or the notification request in a business app, so you are not asked repeatedly.

Third-party technologies

Payments: when you pay, you are handled by our payment provider (Stripe). The payment provider sets its own cookies on its pages for security and fraud prevention, and these are necessary for payments to work. Their use is covered by the provider's own cookie and privacy notices.

Hosting and infrastructure: our hosting and database providers may use strictly necessary technical cookies or headers for security, load balancing and abuse prevention.

Managing cookies and storage

You can clear or block cookies and site storage in your browser settings, and most browsers let you do this for individual sites. Because the storage we use is essential, blocking or clearing it can sign you out, empty your basket or stop parts of the site and the business apps from working properly.
